Immediate Opening: Project Manager

BCK is seeking to add a Licensed Project Manager, with 10-15 yrs of experience to our close knit team of 75 people.

The ideal candidate for this position desires to:

Lead clients and a team of professionals through the design and construction process of projects ranging from $5m - $50m in construction costs
Initiate projects by establishing project teams and developing scope/outline, budget, and schedules for the teams use
Ensure that work is completed as planned and scheduled; including informing the client of project status and providing adequate management, advice, and support to the members of the project team
Work with other project managers to avoid or eliminate conflicts in schedule
Keep project records current so that the team and the firm are able to respond to client requests and changes expediently
Ensure that the full weight of the firm comes to bear on every project by utilizing established quality review procedures and by generating factual reports for discussion
Communicate and nurture new business development and resource opportunities
Ensure that production costs are kept in line with the project budget in order to maximize project profitability.
Manage, support, and evaluate project staff in order to guide them towards achieving their maximum potential
Be proactive in presenting and communicating the capabilities and strengths of the company
Solicit new clients/ projects
Maintain excellent client contact: Meets regularly with key clients to discuss current projects, evaluates firm performance, and identifies other business opportunities either with current clients or through referrals.

Immediate Opening: CAD Drafter/Project Designer

BCK is seeking to add CAD Drafter/Project Designer to our close knit team of 75 people.

The ideal candidate for this position desires to:

Provides technical CAD drafting services for assigned projects with detailed instructions from project manager and senior project designers.
Completes detailed drawings as assigned from sketches, plans, specification, and written and verbal instructions using computer-aided drafting programs.
Revises or changes drawings, traces and/ or copies existing drawings and completes simple calculations with specific instructions.
Establishes and maintains schedules and offers progress reports.
Participates in project meetings and provide technical assistance to other team members as requested.
Minimum four-year-degree in Architecture is required.
