| As part of a district wide $55 million capital improvement project, the Vestal Central School District is completing significant renovations and providing additions to their High School. The first phase of the project includes a multi-purpose stadium with synthetic turf field, all-weather track, new grandstand, team rooms, concession stand, and facilities for track, baseball, softball, tennis, and soccer. Also part of the first phase is a renovation of the existing auditorium, gymnasium, and pool. The second phase of the project includes a 34,000 SF, 11 classroom addition, and a new entrance lobby and administrative space. Major improvements to existing spaces include music rooms, science laboratories, kitchen/cafeteria, toilet rooms, and corridors. Other aspects of the project include pavement reconstruction and parking expansion, exterior façade renovation, technology infrastructure, HVAC, electrical and plumbing upgrades, and ADA renovations.
